Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - CLEO copy F4 sent into ATF or directly to CLEO?

So this is my first time filing a F4 since these new rules.

I see that there is a section on the CLEO copy for "Approved" and "Not Approved". Does this paperwork get submitted to the ATF to get the ATF sign off?  Or does it just get left blank and submitted to the CLEO?

If it is left blank, do I submit it when I mail out the F4's to the ATF or wait until AFTER I get my F4 back?

You send it to the CLEO the same time you send the other 2 copies to the ATF.

Obviously there will be nothing in the approved/disapproved boxes.  It's just a copy of the form as submitted to the ATF.

Read the "work in progress" sticky. It has the actions to take at the end of each form section. The CLEO copy gets special treatment...no photo, fingerprints, or serial number. Send it off to whichever CLEO you choose...and depending on which one that is, don't be surprised if they send it back and tell you to send it to somebody else. If they do, just trash it.
