I have 3 from SS
All three were bought between 4/27 and 6/11, all three form 3's were approved within a 8 week time frame and have been disposed (shipped) as of 8/4. last I heard they (NFA) were working diligently on form 3's before the onslaught of form 4's......my worry isn't the wait, its the chance that Hillery gets in and outlaws them before I get them....

Looks like a range from 1 month to 3 months currently.
Im betting we will be moving into 3 month minimum territory. 3 months form 3 + 12 months form 4 - 15 months in 2017 as the new standard. |

Form 3 Status: Submitted 4/29/2016 I called ATF today and they have no information on the Form 3. FML. I guess the next step is to call SS and have them resubmit. |

SS didn't even notify of my form 3 approval. I randomly logged in their site n saw it.
It's ok considering the kajillion submittals they did. Anyway. Rugged obsidian Submitted or whatever 7/7 Form 3 approved 8/8 |

My understanding and experience with my orders:
SS is notified of F3 approval When the actual approved F3 arrives at SS, the F3 and the suppressor are sent (disposed) to your Powered by Dealer There may be an additional delay before the transfer if there is potential of more approved F3s for this dealer in a short time frame. SS has said this is just basic economics to save additional shipping costs. The F4 will have been submitted by then and will not be affected. They can provide further info in the Industry Forum. |

This is longest I had.
F3 submitted on 03/02/16 and received approved form on 08/26/16. My purchasing dealer sent me a brick of 22lr subs for the long delay. Hell, I filed a eform 1 for a SBR on the same date and it was approved on 8/16/16. |

My Dealer called the ATF 01Aug and was told that the status was still pending with no known issues/problems, but that it did seem to be taking longer than normal. My Dealer had also gotten other approved forms back which were submitted more recently than mine. He had about 6 other pending forms around the same time as mine, without any explanation. So obviously some Form 3's during the 41P/F panic buying months are now pushing 4-5 months for approval.
Still waiting for Electronic Form 3's with automatic approvals that the ATF alluded to in their January email.

Hot shit, so I called today just to check to see if my forms I sent in 13 Jul to beat the deadline were showing pending yet and was told they are still entering forms from May and it's not even in the system yet!

Is the only way to check status since eforms was taken offline to call the ATF?
I did 2 eform submissions on 6/20/16 for sbr lowers and 2 paper forms on 7/12 for one lower and to sbr a cz scorpion. |

I logged in but there is nothing on the eform page that indicates status. I can click on submitted/in process, then form1, then it just lists my 2 forms, along with some details and dates created/submitted, then an option to view form. I don't see a status indicated anywhere. Or while it's pending it doesn't show anything and only when approved/rejected/error does it show something? Sorry this was my first ever eform adventure. Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks for the help guys! You checked status by login in and looking. If it was under Submitted/In Process, that's the status. It's the equivalent of Pending. There's nothing else to check. Depending on the branch it's under, you'll know the status:
