You are searching for three $200 withdrawals, or one $600...right? And not the actual check being cashed? Some people miss them, but they're converted to ACH/EFT transactions, so if you search by check number it never shows up.

In the last several years, I've never had one take more than 10 days. I used the CC option on a paper F1 last week, and it was charged within 24 hours of receipt. Maybe there's a back up due to the holidays, but who knows?

I know it will not help the OP, but it can help others at this point. You can send the CC form with the new(er) or OLD form (just print the third page from the new form) and they will process the payment WITHIN 24hrs (or less) once received!  I have sent several (yes more than two!) with the old(er) form and the third page from the new(er) form. Some they received on a Friday and processed the CC the same day, others arrived on Saturday and they processed the payment on Sunday!

ETA: Do you have some form of tracking info? Are you positive they received the forms? Call them on Monday, they will log the information into the system once the paperwork is received.

Don't look for a check. It will be converted to an electronic withdrawal. Our submissions are being processed in 5-10 days after mailing.

Mailed 1/6
Received by ATF 1/10
Check cashed 1/13

They're pretty fast about taking money. I'd call them if I were you.

I used a cashiers check. And the bank said it hasn't cleared yet.

Filed 4 Form 1s last year, longest they took from receiving forms to cashing check was 5 business days, something doesn't smell  right with your predicament.

Any updates from those of you who were waiting on a check to cash?

My F4 packet was received 21 January, check cashed today, the 25th.  I'm certain my approval will be handled just as expeditiously.

Agreed. I am in GA and they normally cash mine within 4 days of mailing.

Are you all sending these in signature required or just with tracking info?

i personally think people should start using credit cards.  it's a great new feature added by the ATF which should make the process smoother and easier to track.  pretty much every checking account has at least a debit card tied to it.  unless there is a reason not to (double charges, company checks, privacy from government/dealer, credit card processor don't allow it, etc), why not get the benefits and protection of using a credit card especially when you can earn rewards or cash back)?  my credit card was charged on a Wednesday when I dropped the letter in the mail on Saturday.  For my trouble, I earned 2% or $4 per stamp.  Highly unlikely i will seek a refund.  Warning: please disregard this message if you have personal trouble with using credit cards or you are unable to pay the balance in full despite having the money in a checking account.

I sent one in today via USPS priority mail and used a credit card to pay.
