If you're filing as a trust, you don't file a CoC.

Filing one isn't going to hurt anything, but there's no need to file one for any entity, whether trust/corp/LLC/etc. I specifically answered his question using trust because that's how he asked it.
What Attachments Are NOT needed (Forms1 and 4)
When the maker or transferee is a legal entity, Form 5330.20 (generally known as the non-immigrant alien certification) is not required.
The new Form 1 includes the CoC questions, and above that section (titled Maker's Certification) it says:
A maker who is an individual must complete this Section
The new Form 4 says (2)(e):
(4) do not complete items 16 and 17-20, if other than an individual transferee
