I Just got back from my dealer, I picked up my Reece 5 that was approved on January 26. Still no word on my Specter II that was approved January 16.

I was basically told if its not recieved within 30 days they will send a certified copy and they would not comment on why it has taken so long for approvals in that particular time frame. I talked to my dealer shortly after and he is going to call on Monday. |

Just got my 1/27 approval stamp back. It arrived at my dealer on Saturday 2/7. Examiner was Ann Feltner. And as always, NFAtracker updated.

I called today and ask what the issue was with having not received my 1/15 approval yet. The lady I spoke with said that they have up to 10 days to mail it out after it bring approved. She then said that the blizzard came around, and all those stamps got held up. She said it screwed up the mail for 4 or 5 days. But she seemed to be a tad curious about it because I should have gotten it by now, seeing as to how its been almost 4 weeks. She told me that come 2/15, I can mail in a letter requesting a certified copy and that could take a few weeks to process.
So I don't know anymore. I mean how can they just sort of "lose" all those stamps? |

I'm at 162 days from my pending date of 9/2/15, and 27 days from my approval date of 1/15/16 to today. Status of my approved stamp: unknown.

I count it as day 26 for my 1/15 approval, but these are minor details. Visited my SOT today for a routine NICS transfer and he said that after Form 4's are approved, they get moved to a different department for actual mailing. So I blame the guy in the mail room for now.

I guess I am am this boat as well. My forms were submitted in August. My Dealer just checked a couple days ago and told me that they were "approved" in January but have not been sent. he was given no further explanation.

Monday is technically a month later since mine was approved, even though its been 28 days if you go day for day. So anyway, I'm planning on sending a letter requesting a certified copy because I want my gun. This losing of the 1/15 forms its really starting to bother me. I know I'm not the only one either. How can you have such a massive "unknowns" for Form 4s, and yet later approved forms are already coming back. Someone at the NFA branch is responsible for this.

10-1-16 mg approved 2-8-16. I got a shoot I'm going too out of state on the 19th of March. I'm going ahead and sending in the Form 20 |

Ahh makes sense now. I have a F4 approved sometime in Jan but no stamp yet. When My dealer called they said it was approve but didn't know if it was mailed. Told to call back if it doesn't show up by 2/15 but since the PO was closed I'll give it a couple more days.
