Well as of yesterday SilencerShop approval dates went "back to normal." Meaning a lesser spread than was previously reported. Not too long ago it was a spread of 5/28-8/13 submission approvals.
Approvals for submissions submitted 5/28-7/2. I guess I have another 3-4 weeks left. Yayyy....

Just lobbed a call over to the ATF and my two stamps were approved. Info is as follows:
F4 Trust AAC S762 SDN6 and Surefire 556-RC Check(s) cashed: 6/30 Pending: 7/1 Approved: 11/7 On another note, it's pretty drastic how much faster using a trust is than the individual route at the moment. I'm transferring one of my cans to a buyer, and they went pending April 23rd, which has now been moved to a May 6th pending date. |

We can't transfer assault weapon (expect 94 preban) to a trust anymore. Trust me ... I wish I can skip all the CLEO signature and finger prints.

If Silencer shop had done what they were supposed to, I would have had the suppressor MONTHS ago! I won't use them again for anything....... That was the beginning of the cluster fuck. So really ALL of my troubles IS Silencer Shop's fault! After the suppressor arrived at the dealer's shop eforms had already gone down. So I decided to wait to see if eforms would come back up. It didn't after 3 months of waiting. So I went ahead, and sent paper. The error on the form was the dealer's fault. The fuck didn't send my Trust in with the application paperwork! I even gave them a copy of the trust just so they could send it in, but they didn't! Even after getting the error letter, the dealer sat on the corrected application for a week before sending it back in. Luckily ATF is on the ball right now cause lead time was less than 2 weeks from corrections sent(snail mail), till stamp received.. ETA: I actually emailed a copy of my trust to Jessica Curtis so she could put it with my application packet, and just in case the dealer fucked it up again. She accepted my emailed copy. Which was surprising because I'm not an SOT, or the dealer that sent the application in. But she accepted it anyway so props to her. Silencer Shop blames it on the dealer! The dealer agrees to have SS do the eform, and when everything is wrapped up, all the dealer deals with is the 4473. |

Good news, brethren, paper Form 4 transfer times are falling. I just got word that mine was approved on 11/15. It was mailed in late June, pending almost immediately. That's 4.5 months from door to door.

We weren't saying you can do it now. We were referring to before form 4 was taken down from eforms, and YES that's how it worked. Did you even read any of our posts? Maybe you should go read them before opening your hole, and treating folks like idiots. ETA: I'm pretty sure just about everyone knows there is no form 4 on eforms right now. I mean, it says it right on the front fucking page  .

Found out one got approved.
F4 Trust; Warlock II Mailed: 7/14 Check: 7/17 Pending: 7/30 Approved: 11/13 Received: TBD Research assistant said she got the forms back on the other two yesterday, processed them and passed them along to the examiner. So, maybe approval by the end of the week? |

I read BW's approval and so I called on mine. From reading in this thread and the other about examiners it seems it gets approved based on which examiner's desk your part of the paper stack gets dropped on. Will update with a name when I get the call to go get it.
Did notice it was approved on a Saturday. Hopefully it went out with the evening mail. |

I called today because my dealer said I needed to give them another copy of my trust (apparently some of their customers were only sending Declaration, Certification and Scheduke A) and they were calling everyone with NFA stuff in process. I'm waiting on 3 cans and always sent off the full length trust (all 30 pages).
I wanted to see if my oldest sent back in July for a can I purchased in March (yeah I kept getting told to wait for E-Forms) was in problem status and they told me "Pending 7/17, you should get it in February."
At least no problem status. |
