That is actually an Armi San Marco produced gun.
There should be a date code on it somewhere. The code will be Roman Numerals or letters like XX.
Looks like late 1970's early 1980's made. Possibly later.

Mic the bore and cylinder to see exactly what size bullets you'll need.
I have the Uberti Colt ".31" caliber Pocket Model and it uses .321 balls.
Yours may be smaller so you can use .315 balls.
Its a typical cap&ball just tiny.
Powder load will be about 10-15grains of 3Fg.
Lubed wads are available.
Recoil is nothing. Ballistics about that of a 22LR.
Fun little dude to shoot.

Congrats on the new concealed carry piece.

There is a .32 centerfire conversion for such style but I think they say do not use with brass frames though they may be OK for full frame that is so small.  There is a clip on youtube of guy shooting one.

It is a .315 cylinder. May try 00 buck shot. Marked CVA on the frame.
Connecticut Valley Inc. on top of the barrel.
ASM black powder only Made in Italy side of barrel.

I'm guessing kit gun. There are sanding marks left in the brass and no proof marks. Also it's not timed correctly. The hand tries to move the cylinder before the pawl drops out of the slot. Doubt it's been fired. The bottom of the cylinders are still shiny. I'll adjust the timing and see what it shoots like.

Thanks.

Store bought buckshot might be too hard/made from alloy?
Hornady sells soft lead roundballs in .315 for blackpowder.

Are there any stamps on the barrel under the loading lever?
Odd it doesn't have a date code.

You are right. Forgot shot is harder. Oh great, another size of something to get.

There is not a mark other than the above.
Started messing with it but didn't get far. Going to try to get the pawl to unlock faster rather than shorten the hand.

Got the timing fixed and it's ready to shoot. Found a 5 digit serial number under the grips.

Picture with a 51 navy.

ETA    LGS had a box of hornady .315 balls. Tempted to shoot it in the back yard.

Already had #10 caps and lots of black powder.  Need a cheap way to buy more caps.

Is that frame brass, or in the white steel?  Hard to tell in the picture and I didn't see it mentioned (though you may have).  I don't know if I have seen a brass-frame pocket Remington before.  I was thinking it was the "Colt" pocket 31 when you first mentioned it.  I have one of the CVA "Wells Fargo" pocket Colts that came with a "display box" and a spare cylinder.  Have shot it quite a few times and it is fun.
