I posted this in the gunsmith section and am awaiting a reply but I figured I'd ask here too, can you thread a British Bren machine gun barrel onto a no 4 mk 2 receiver and have it shoot and function properly?  Mods, I'm sorry if I'm breaking rules posting in both sections.

The Enfield receiver has regular barrel threads, a bren barrel uses a set of interrupted threads.

You'd have to mill the barrel and thread it, then set headspace. If even possible.


The UK59 doesn't use interrupted threads, but people have modified them to use on mosin receivers.
