Just ordered some ammo from Buffalo Arms for a Nambu T-14 I am repairing.  Anxious to see how it works.  Anyone else tried their stuff?

I have, but I have never had any Type 14 run reliably with any ammunition. They just aren't the most reliable guns.

If you haven't already, order a spring kit for it from Wolff.

I reloaded my own 8mm when I had a few of them. Weak ass round, but 100% reliable for me. Mags are the most finicky thing on the gun.

Since you have successfully reloaded it, can you offer any hints/tricks/tips for reloading this obscure cartridge?

Well I don't remember the load data. Dies, brass and bullets can be sourced from Huntingtons. Like all bottleneck pistol rounds like the 30 Luger there is a fine line on too much flair on the case mouth and not enough. Too much and you collapse the case when flaring and too little you collapse the case when seating a bullet. Just pay attention to that.

You can resize and trim 357 sig brass for cases. Bullet is an odd .320 diameter best obtained over the casting pot with proper mold. My brother has been reloading this cartridge for 40 years or so first using cases bought from midway way back when they were just a custom brass supplier
