A LGS near me has a M24/47 mauser for sale with a matching bolt and stock. Asking price is $230 and the only issue is a slight crack in the left side of the stock between the floor plate and the receiver. Bore/crown is pretty decent so should I fo?  I won't be able to get pictures.

Check Gunbroker for a good idea on going prices. Seems like a pretty decent price to me, if you want one.

But...having said that, you know the drill:

Today's prices, $230 is a great deal depending on how bad that crack is. 

Most of those weren't matching also that I have seen.

Well....I picked her up today and paid $230 out the door. I've been seeing this gun at Gander Mountain near my house for that last few years and no one was touching her. I'm guessing because of the mismatched upper handguard and the small crack on the left side of the stock. They wanted darn near $400 for this thing a month ago (and they wonder why they are going out of business). The bore looks actually great with no pitting and very strong rifling and the muzzle barely swallows a 8mm projectile. Turns out she's totally matching and noticed the floor plate matches also so the stock, bolt, receiver and floor plate all match which is pretty cool. Thread is worthless without pics so here they are. Too bad for the annoying import marks but it is what it is and I think she'll clean up decently.
