My most recent purchases have been from the auction sites, but I've always enjoyed my retailer experiences and firearms. havn't bought a firearm c&r from one of those sites in a while.. at the current prices its almost wiser to buy on an individual basis. Then you know what you are getting. |

Agreed, just wondering what market forces were at work. Apparently no new supply, and too much to buy, leads the consumer to p2p transactions.

I went to their site the other day and noticed they had 6-rifle crates of "turn-in" (what-ever that is) 91/30s for....Wait for it....$180.00 each when bought by the case of six. Three case minimum.
I noticed they all had those CAI receiver billboard import markings. 
I'm wondering if they are just really refurbs that did not travel well. 
A single 91/30 is now $190.00.

No doubt they fear monger, and prices are typically high, but I just don't see other retailers churning out product like these guys.

They were giving crates away last week. Saw it on their Facebook page. You could have a trailer load if you wanted them, free of charge. I couldn't take a day off or I would have made the two hour trip. Classic has been OK to deal with.

Probably because places like Aim and others aren't willing to pay what the importers want for these guns.

Classic is willing to pay top dollar for the stuff and pass the expense onto customer with a BS story pitch. AIM and other simply refuse to pay prices which means their customers will be getting bent over.
AIM lost their lot of Molot M38s to Classic like this couples years ago. |
