I found this 1923 S&W M&P today. Decent shape for it's age. Still tight.
C&Rs are not all about mil-surps.

Im going to guess $100 at a yard sale. Comes with a holster and a case of ammo.

Nice! I have its brother that was shipped in 1924 in similar condition. My serial is 487641. Anywhere near yours?
I use my C&R mostly for non military pieces these days. S&W revolvers have been the biggest number of acquisitions in the last couple of years.
