WOW! A fine collection if I ever saw one! Back in the 90's there were a few Type 53's imported in brand new unfired condition, have you ever seen one of these? Bet they are $$$$ but you would love to have one in your collection...the wood on those is blonde and beautiful.

I saw one of the ones that looked unissued a few years ago at a gun shop in Mosspoint MS. called Guns And Ammo. They wanted over $300 for it. I passed on the Type 53 and bought a M38 with an original Moain carbine sling for $136.

Welcome aboard!!  The 91/59's are my favorite.  Never cared for the M44.  Owned a few but they are gone now.  So is my M38.

Best 2nd post EVAR! Nice collection! I'm very fond of the Mosin carbines myself.
