Hey all,

I'm trying to figure what optic/red dot to run on my takedown. It's brand new and  I just installed the SBX barrel on it. I'm thinking I want to run a FastFire on it. What are you guys running on your takedowns? Pics please and any comments on their repeatability would be great.

I don't have a pic, but I am running a PA 6x acss reticle with the Game reaper low mount. I like it so far. Before that I had a Bushnell TRS red dot on it.

Leupold vx 2 2x7, paralax set to 60 yrds. Lightweight and fairly short, it's sharp and works great.

Primary Arms 2moa microdot on the mount.

Repeat seems good, the optic is on the receiver

Thanks. I put in on the wife's ruger 22/45 for some fun range plinking.

UTG Bug Buster on mine. 3-9x, AO, illuminated reticle (2 colors), target turrets with zero reset.

You might not like the name, but it's the best optic I've found for less than 100 bucks. And it zeros reliably with the takedown.

A 3x9 with quick detach rings, and a PA red dot.

TR-25 on mine right now but I want something with some magnification.  It's a Gemtech Mist-TD setup and I love it!

ETA -top rifle now wears a Vortex Diamondback HP 2-8x.  It's a Liberty Pinnacle 2 setup.

What brand are the rings, I just got a set of the Leopold while nice they are a little heavy for a project I have.

I've got one on my TD, works fine out past 100 yds.

I will see if I have anything worthy of posting online for picts. I have the Nikon 2x-7x and I like it. is a bit tight in the case but it all fits.

Sorry I don't have a pic but I'm using a Weaver RV-7 on my Takedown Lite.  I'm using Warne medium QD rings but it turns out I didn't need them as it fits in the new-style bag as is.  I love the scope.  It's light and very clear.  Haven't shot it yet though.  Was using a Bugbuster but I took it off after reading loose reticle reports on Rimfirecentral.

I redid my 10/22 TD.  Used my BSA Sweet 22 with a set of Warne QD rings.  Works great and taken down and scope off fits in the bag.  So far I've had good luck with return to zero.  RWS and Gemtech subsonics are spooky quiet with the Mist...

ETA I also picked up a Kidd single stage.  What an awesome trigger!
