Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone have a Ruger Charger with a Front Sight or put a front sight on a Charger?

I have a new Production Charger that I SBR'd.  I am looking to put a front sight on it and need to know the height over the top of the barrel so I can order the correct height.  If anyone has one with a sight or installed a sight on one If you would measure 2 things for me.

The Diameter of the Barrel, and the Height of the Sight from the top of the barrel.

If you are willing to have the end of the barrel turned down to .610" you can use our NDS-44 front sight with the NDS-26 rear sight / rail combo.

The only Chargers I have seen with sights on the barrel were the Green Mountain aftermarket barrels that come with sights installed and a cut down 10-22 barrel with a front sight mounted in the rear sight slot on the OEM barrel, and a rear sight mounted on the receiver.
