I use KIDD for all my Ruger bolts. It's 10.95 +$5 S/H(I believe)on their website or $12.95 with free shipping on Ebay.

Find a free shipping code for Brownells. Buy a Volquartson or Clark extractor. I have the Clark trigger and sear.
Buy other stuff too.

Oh yeah, and stupid me. Remember to pull the bolt back when removing the barrel on a take down 10/22!!!

The Ruger extractors are not all that good. Get a good aftermarket one, the shipping won't seem so bad.

Well if you're going to make a habit of trying to remove the barrel with the bolt closed, you may want to buy extractors by the dozen. That will reduce the shipping cost per extractor. And may as well go cheap - there's no point buying an expensive extractor if you're going to bend/break it.
