I'm having light strikes on one of my 10/22s.  Headspace was accurized by Que.

Firing pin protrusion should be 0.025 and I've read of some preferring it as large as 0.035.  Protrusion half of what it should be right now.

I'm going to order a replacement pin, but if it's still a little short I want to fix the real problem.

Does anyone have a link, reference to, or pictures of the process to dress down the back of a 10/22 bolt?  I've successfully radiused & polished a number of bolts using a bench grinder, files, and various grades of sandpaper.  Can I do the fix myself?

Yes you can. Search here or over on RFC. I've done 2 and average time was 20-30 min per. Unless you're anal about having a super polished radiused area.
