Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Savage Mark II Scope base?

Looking for a new scope base to replace the tri-rail from the FVSR. Been looking at the EGW bases. Right now I only plink with the gun out to about 100yrds at the most. I've measured the ejection port opening and it looks like 1 5/8" opening. Should I look at the 0 MOA base for now?

Google is pointing me to HERE for the mount but this doesn't seem right.

I think this is the one that you are looking for.....








I got the 20 MOA version to put on mine but I want to be able to shoot past the 100yd mark.
