Anyone buying a Standard 3-day Assault Pack from LBT, or anything similar ought to give consideration to obtaining one of these
Utility Pouches, and attaching it on the PALS webbing on the dorsal side of the pack. Reason for doing so is that LBT 3-Day Assault Pack has almost zero internal or external organization, and adding the abovementioned pouch means that all your small, oft-used items can be stowed in an organized manner, and right to hand when needed. Attaching such a pouch would, I think, be mandatory for an EDC pack, and adding a frame sheet would likewise be
highly desirable; virtually a necessity, IMHO. The
Sidekick Pouch is similar, but less than half the size.
Yes, the pouches are made by Condor, but they do not carry much weight, so they are not over-stressed, and so not prone to premature failure.
FWIW, London Bridge Trading Co. (LBT) has another line of items, named
LBX. Thee are items made (mostly) overseas, but under LBT's supervision. High quality at a fraction of the usual LBT price. The LBX main site, linked previously, has some items on sale, and
Tactical Distributors has LBX as well as many other brands on sale right now.
