Iv'e kept the upper foam piece in but use two just cheap rifle bags in there. Good buy. One day I might cut, and put the other foam pieces back in.

$50 is a pretty darn exceptional price, good find. Recently acquired a few 1750's, granted not at quite the discount you seemed to have found. Plenty of people running bags in the case.

Yes I do, a Tactical Innovations that I got in a group buy years ago, the large size is a tight fit but it will close.
