I have a few Tactical Tailor 6 round MOLLE shingles I've used in the past. They're fairly low profile and can be added to the front of a 5.56 shingle, if desired.

The Esstac Shotgun cards are friggin sweet.
plus side is that you can keep two in an M4 pouch, and have 7 ready to rock with 14 in reserve http://www.skdtac.com/Esstac-Shotgun-Card-p/ess.106.htm |

Another vote for the Esstac velcro cards. Most PC's have enough velcro on the front to be able to stick so you can load right off your vest, or rip it off and put it back on the side of your gun.
You can spraypaint the less lethal cards blaze orange if you need an extra step to keep things separate. |

Just thread the shells into the MOLLE loops on the carrier itself. No need to buy anything extra.
