Has anyone used the Granite Gear M4 magazines pouches? Are they good to go? These use a tuck-tab closure system. I don't like velcro.

Thanks.

Granite Gear is good to go. I use a lot of their backpacking gear. However, I'd like to point out that their military designs aren't the best. Those magazine pouches are more for storage/carry than easy access.

Have never used their pouches but I own a Granite Gear Chief (a pack they designed for Natick) and it's bomb

$29 for a two-mag pouch?

Maybe for Bloombergs's bodyguards.

Or you can go on ebay, and  buy FOUR milspec SDS double m4 mag pouches, DCU or Woodland, new, for $19 shipped.

These are what are issued to Soldiers.   They also stand up to tough airsoft battle use.   (Don't laugh:  airsofters put their gear through more grind in a weekend than civvie real-steel shooters do in forever.   Deficiencies show up immediately on the battlefield.)
