Looking for a simple and inexpensive slick plate carrier....  don't need molle, or attachments.

What do you recommend?

I have this one.  Works well when molle is not needed.

I really liked the Velocity Systems Lightweight Plate Carrier I got to test for a bit at the LGS. Gives you the option to add a placard for 5.56 or 7.62 or plain molle if you want to add pouches.

Similar price range - the LBT 6094-Slick is pretty nice too. Buddy of mine has one and has nothing but good things to say. I think they're on sale for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Both made in USA No other experiences with other PCs...

Same here! Had the local stitch bitch add Velcro to the back panel for some IFF patches I needed to wear and it's good to go.

Had a 6094 slick nice setup, grab the side pocket for mag carrier/side plates and you've got a great setup.

Velocity Systems LWPC for me.  I can scale it up for rifle with a placard very easily.  I just wish it were somewhat simpler to add hydro to it, but that might decrease its slick appeal to some.

thanks for info.... will be looking more into it after the new year.

Ohh yea, plate carrier runs were always fun when I was active duty, now that I am retired I need to get back into it; I still do ruck though.

Im really really liking the ferro concepts carriers, but the slickster only has half the stuff required to securely mount a chest rig.

Not sure what the point is of having the clips on the upper chest, but not having provisions to attach side ones.  Velcro only IMHO isn't good enough.
