Not on sale, but...
I have a couple of First Spear caps. My head is on the large size, so I was looking for a cap that came a bit further down towards my ears than some others that fitted me like beanies or yarmulkas. The TYR caps, while not inexpensive, fit me pretty well. A side benefit is that the brim is made to be foldable, so the cap can be stowed in a pocket if desired. They're made in Vietnam, and that upset a Corpsman VN-vet friend of mine, until I pointed out that both his cap and shirt were made in Red China. I mentioned that the Red Chinese were our real adversaries, and since the Viets and Chinese have hated each other for centuries, anything that made the ChiComs mad couldn't be all bad. If I can find out his hat size on the sly, I might buy him one. He liked the look of the cap. |

Pretty disappointed in Vertx - was all set to checkout with some of their clothing last night at 10:30PM Eastern and the coupon code didn't work. I tried all caps as stated a few posts up, as well as lower case, nothing worked. Their site, their rules, yada yada, but that's pretty dicked up considering I was still well within Labor Day.
