Been putting this together on the cheap hence my homemade multicam. Going to try it out to see what I like and dislike.

I think you did well on the camo job!
Trying it is where is at. I have moved things around and just trying it around the house dry firing! I'm sure I'll keep moving things around lol

I like the simplicity of it. What's the small pouch on the right for?

Flash light. I have a Kabar tdi that will go in between the holster and flash light
but it hasn't came in yet

Condor gen 2. Wanted to get a belt to try out before I spent a lot of $ on gear that I didn't like. Not bad for the $ and will serve it's purpose until I upgrade but I can see why the more expensive belts with the velcro inside work better.

Two suggestions:

1) You will want to buy some 1/16" thick black HDPE sheeting from Grainger in order to make a liner for that belt.  Condor belts are notorious for folding over at the top.  You can use excess HDPE sheeting to make frame sheets for packs.  ALWAYS sandpaper the edges of any HDPE sheeting, and NO square corners--pound them off.

2) Low-profile (thin), but wide at the tops of the shoulders shoulder harness.  Your belt has 4 suspender harness attachment points.  I suggest you use them.

I really need to a tutorial on HDPE.

I picked up an h harness for the belt and gave it a shot today. Still trying to adjust it so it's not in the way when I shoulder the rifle. Thanks for the heads up on the HDPE sheeting.

Understood.  I have an Infidel belt from US Grunt Gear that I've been very happy with.  Every pouch on it is from HSGI though.  I also have a lower profile Cobra Belt from US Grunt Gear.  It doesn't have as much stuff on it though; just magazines.

I've heard a lot of good about the Suregrip Padded Belt from HSGI as well, but I've never used one.  It doesn't use velcro inside like my belts from USGG do, but given the quality of their other products that I've used I would give them the benefit of the doubt on their battle belt if I was in the market for one.

ETA:  I'm not affiliated with either company.
