So what are my options in regard to using a chest rig over my PIG? some sort of T-clip type setup? I looked through SKD and didnt seem to find anything that would work,

Ok, I want to try to mimic the clip on/ clip off style chest rigs that the Mayflower plate carriers can use. Where you can clip a 5.56 chest rig onto your plate carrier or clip a 7.62 chest rig in its place. I know I've seen the side release clips that attach perpendicular to the MOLLE webbing but I cant remember who makes them.

yes... and there are options available, but it depends on what articles you are wanting to interface

The downrange clips would work but I would need to get a new chest rig as the Eagle/ SKD one I have now has the larger side release clips.
I was thinking about using either the OSOE mini chest rigs or any of the many other options in the 'mini style' rigs
most of those use the smaller clips so the downrange clips would work
