Had a Shellback Tactical Banshee for years and just recently got around to replacing it with an LBT-6094B.  Of course two days after getting it, LBT released the LBT-6094 Quick Release V2.  So, I bought that and still need to return the original 6094.

Anyway, swapping over from the old carrier which was black to the new one which is ranger green.  Replacing pouches...  went with an Esstac triple mag shingle for the front of the carrier.  My old carrier and pouches had attachments build into them.  I got a set of WTFix straps with the Esstac but they seem too short and like they'll be a pain in the ass to install.  What does everyone recommend for an attachment system?

The WTF Straps are a PITA to install. Lightweight and stay in place once you do, though. A needle-nose pliers is a necessity.

Tactical Tailor MALICE clips are much easier, if that's what you're looking for.

Coyote looks great as a base for M81 in that setup. Noice!

You're not wrong. WTF were a pain.

I used the back of a spoon but it was still a pain. Good to go once installed though.

You only run the straps through three rows of webbing on the back of the pouches. Also, pulling the kydex inserts makes things a little easier.

They just came today - $30!!!  Yes they're not made in the USA but they are damn nice and seem to work, and function exactly like the other options.  Installed on my Mayflower APC:

Just got mine in today as well and installed on my Armatus. Seems fairly well made. Gonna hit the range in the next week or so to see how it holds up.

That works on your LBX Armatus?

Think it'll work on the 0300?

Hmm so I have a LBT QRCV2 as my own primary duty use carrier and wanted a secondary for the wife.  I was thinking of getting the Agilite K19 for about $240 but I could conversely get the LBX0300 for $130 (with military discount) and just add the $30 tube set.

I don't know about LBX's quality and I do know that Agilite makes quality gear.  Does anyone else know any quality setups that offer active duty discounts ?

2 is one, 1 is none. I received the daedons I ordered for myself and my wife earlier this week. Next on the list is rma 1155 plates and thinking of going with hsp d3crm chest rig to clip onto the pc’s. Not sure if I’ll do the same for the wife’s rig, or just get her an esstac front panel.

Are those anywhere close to the quality of FS tubes, or are there they more airsoft grade?

MOS Tactical will actually install tubes on your
cumberbund permanently (sew them in), but it runs $60 per side. That's still less than the $200+ that First Spear wants for their cumberbund. Also, it seems like it would be more secure than the ones that attach to the molle slots.

Or you could buy an MOS manufactured cummerbund with the tubes for $80 a side. I’d be looking at this a little more closely if they weren’t skeletonized.

The Blaze Defense tubes strike me as installing pretty securely.

Finally got my coyote tactical tubes cummerbund (which shipped on the 5th, but just got here today. Thanks USPS) but found that I fucked up and ordered the molle front instead of the Velcro front. So, it’s going back

I’m just going to wait until I shed the rest of the lard before buying another one.

I'd say they are identical clips - you can see they look the same.  Heck I bet they came off of the same line in China that the other places are selling them for $100.  Do you believe that the clips are all made in the states?  I don't.  The molle parts are probably sewn here, but the plastic parts definitely are not.  Assembled locally with globally sourced parts.  Go ahead and pay $200 for something that you can get for far less that functions the same.

@ki_soarer

No problem!
JPC 2.0
Highcom 4s17m’s
Spiritus Mk 4 with the half flap, triple rifle insert and double pistol insert. Surefire fury in the one slot.
Spiritus sack 2.0 with a NAR SIRK gen 2 inside, softt-w on the bottom.

Pretty simple, and a bit heavy, but I do dig it.

This. Honestly, how many manufactures are making polymer/plastic parts like this, especially being so use specific in the US? Not saying it might not happen, just saying for the small consumer base, how realistic is it?

*not defending my purchase of the less expensive parts, genuinely curious

They apparently had another small restock on some of the bags and the MK4's earlier today.  From what I've read, they were gone in 5 minutes.  It's crazy.

Right now I have spare 123A and CR2032 batteries in a plastic case and a small multi-tool.  Plan on getting the AXL Battery sleeve to replace the plastic case.

Yours looks good!  I've got just a couple small things to add to mine.  My L210's came in last week.

It would be awfully difficult for First Spear’s Strandhogg to be Berry compliant if the tubes weren’t entirely US made, along with the rest of the carrier. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks! I got tired of waiting for Spiritus M81 LV119 bags so I figured I would try out a JPC 2.0 medium coyote and put all the M81 kit on is and see what I think.

I was only going to do it temporarily but may be keeping it permanently as it's starting to grow on me.

Stupid question time. Sorry, still have no idea about this stuff.

My LBX 0300 came with 2 long strands of bungee cord. What are those for?

I asked on their IG page & somebody said, to tie the cummerbund in the back. What?

Any help is appreciated & hopefully helps out another one of us getting started in this stuff.

I suspect that it’s a spare bungee for the cummerbund. Not sure if it’s the same length as the one already installed.

Now that you mention it, I’m not quite sure where I put the extras.

For reference:

I’d also suggest tying your ‘bund off to the rear bag  once you get it sized to keep it from sliding around:

Anyone know of a minimalist hydration carrier that will fit a Source 3L wide/low-pro bladder? I use that bladder in another setup and would like to use it with my PC.

Looks like SKD's PIG SP carrier might be an option.

I would have killed for something like that when I was in. Always had to cobble together a Camelbak onto your vest and it never worked very well. You'd always have to take your vest off to fill up (or have a buddy top you off) and they'd end up getting caught on shit.

More weight!  What's not to like?

Depends on your carrier.  Some support zip on panels/packs on the back, many of which have a hydration bladder pocket.

LBX 0300 In caiman
4S17 Highcom Level IV plates
Old Tactical Tailor 3 rifle  mag pouch
Old tactical tailor 2 handgun mag pouch on the cummerbund
I’ve got a few other pouches laying around I haven’t really bothered with, an admin pouch is one of them.

Thinking about dying the rifle mag pouch with some brown rit dye to get it to match closer.

I wish I had side plate capabilities.

I’ll post up the wife’s plate carrier tomorrow. It’s more minimalistic than mine.

It routes out the bottom on the left side.

According to my bathroom scale, I’m 232, put the carrier on and I’m 254  Those plates are heavy, but the carrier distribute the weight well, so it doesn’t feel that bad when running, doing squats, getting up and the like.

I should also add that my two pistol mags are 21 round.

I have 0 medical supplies on that rig, and I should probably change that.

Add that my rifle weighs about 10 pounds, and we’re getting somewhere.

I’m really wanting side plates, so it’ll be even heavier with those, I just haven’t figured out how I’m going to add those.

The weight is the plates. But they were in my budget, same as the battle steel in my wife’s, but I’m not going to load her down, my goal for hers is for her to get to safety while I put my foot down and stop attackers in their tracks.

I hear ya, you got to buy what's in your budget. I too, have an LBX 0300. Still waiting on my plates from Kota.

I'm going to buy a couple 0300 vests for the woman & kid. I found some older 0300's on ebay for pretty cheap, because they are the old ugly camo that nobody wants.

My plan is the same as yours, get them to safety will covering.

Edit: I've seen several video's about the LBT 6094 cummerbund fitting the 0300. All the reviews of the 0300 recommend a CB upgrade.
