Lightweights. I take it you cats have never been out in the bush for more than an hour. Long grass works well for an ass wipe. Take pains not to grab poison ivy, oak, or sumac, else you'll be sorry.

I was speaking from experience.  Don't try wiping with dry leaves. Your fingers will go right through, then you'll have a whole new set of problems.

Absolutely right. Then, you look like an ass with shit on yer digits.

I actually keep a handful of tri-fold baby wipes (Huggies? from Costco) in a gallon freezer bag stowed in the zipper pocket on my ILBE assault pack. They take up little space and I can use them to wipe or clean my face or nether regions if I'm out for a while. They take up little space and weigh next to nothing. A small bottle of hand sanitizer is kept close to  the wipes.

Right when you're about to "cut it", dynamically drive yer' hips to fling it to the side. There, no wiping!
Do you even dynamically poop, Bro?

Seriously though,
before the socks, pockets, t-shirts and Poison Ivy come out,
keep a few of these handy(there's at least 2 in the MR 3 DAP....1 visible in the picture):

Shit's fucking harsh as shit too , but I'm too ADD/lazy to unroll and re-roll portions of regular toilet paper

I'd loose half that pistol ammo and if anything add another rifle double, but looks good man.

If I'm wearing a chest rig, I'm not going to be pistoling it. Would rather have more long gun

Depends really.

As a basic load carrying pack, ILBE all the way. Because of the ILBE's pack profile, expanding the capacity by using large sustainment pouches makes load feel awkward (for me anyway). If you need to expand capacity and heavier loads, FILBE. The FILBE is more custom friendly in general and with ALICE lineage of packs.

The helmet is the ops corp Multicam carbon shell and the bungee system is the ops core helmet bungee system...I use it to throw Chem lights underneath or whatever. I want to get the new team Wendy helmet though...a lot lower profile and more comfortable.

Yea I have no purpose for the ballistic version. The carbon version is very light. I was in the process of saving up to get the Multicam pvs-14 on TNVC but I saw they have the thermal monocular version so I'm gonna get that one first. Lol 6,495 though.

Just got back from a climbing trip into the Linville Gorge. We did two multi-pitch routes: Jim Dandy (5.4) and Cave Route (5.5) on Table Rock and also some bouldering and exploring in Linn Cove near the viaduct.

My packing list, though there were a few things that didn't make the photo. I've also started making modifications to my ENO Single Nest/Dryfly setup. The MR Komodo/NICE Daypack Lid worked great as did my Hill People Gear Kit Bag.

Me going up the second pitch on Jim Dandy.

Anchors on the second belay ledge of Jim Dandy.

My climbing parter, Kelly, rolling up the first pitch on Cave Route.

Me eyeing my next holds on the first pitch of Cave Route. The Ops-Core BASE worked great. There were a pair of dudes racing to get as many routes as they could climb working Peekaboo Route beside us. They were doing a running belay and were rapping off the Lightning Ledge above us while we were on Jim Dandy and accidentally pushed some rocks off onto us. The brain buckets came in handy.

It's suspected that some of the very first SF guys from Bragg back in the early-mid '60s set these bolts on Table Rock way before Outward Bound came in and really started setting routes in the Gorge and on Table Rock. Crazy to think how those old SF hands hiked WAY up into there before any roads were cut and went about establishing those routes with minimal climbing gear and old tech. I can't imagine doing FAs in jungle boots with no chalk, no cams or nuts, and using those old bolts and pitons. Fucking hairy. But that damn bolt and all the old pitons we found were rock-solid still, and those old SF dudes have never claimed to have ever been there. Truly Quiet Professionals to this day. De Oppresso Liber, gents.

This bolt and another old piton is on the ledge just above the Lunch Ledge on the third pitch of Cave Route (aka: Block Route).

Yours truly below Cathedral Falls. Really dig the Kit Bag. On my back is the Aussie-made PLATATAC Echo II Hydration Pack. Great combo for light hikes and moderate scrambling.

The ATS GP pouches are a perfect fit and really help expand the pack. Plus, it makes a shelf to clamp shit like my rope and Thermarest under the NICE Daypack Lid. It seems to be a good system even if it's a bit heavier than other packs of the same size. I don't mind it though because I know I can't tear this thing up. MR is the shit.

For sure. What kind of weights are you carrying with that? My 3DAP maxes out at like 50lb before it starts chaffing my hips pretty bad and kind of sagging backwards. Not sure if its my fitment or the bag. Either way I think the NICE frame with a bigger, well-suited pack should remedy that.

I didn't weigh my pack with everything thrown in, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was around 55lbs, give or take a few. I think that's about maxed-out for these rigs, and I found it tough to get the weight onto my hips instead of my shoulders. Might need to make some adjustments before the next trip.

-3x hsgi taco
-Hsgi bleeder pouch
-BFG helium whisper small utility pouch - multitool, duck tape, batteries, snacks and a tin of skoal
-I'm not sure green med pouch (might be condor I dunno, it was given to me).  It has held up over the years and works as I need it.
-Eagle? (can't remember, I bought this a while ago) 3 mag shingle. I cut the snaps off the top of the pouches. Annoyed me to no end. Allows me to have a stackable rig if I want to carry more mags.
-Hydration pouch has been taken off. It is a knock off MAP. Worked all right, just didn't need a hydro pouch at the range lol.
-Admin pouch. Just general stuff in it for range/classes.
-Team Wendy esapi training plates.
