The BAR belt rig, VietNam rig, and M1 rig (looks like M1928 cartridge belt with USMC M1941 suspenders) look really cool.

I have a not-so-secret lust to assemble a BAR belt-based rig for either a FAL or 20rd AR mags, someday.
By the way, who made the BAR belt? Looks new.

Nope I did a few laps around the house with it on and it seemed to solid. No more sound then anything else.

I wish there was as good way to run my costa subload under my battle belt, but I found that it just doesn't work.  The battle belt either rides ridiculously high or blocks my access to my subload.

Therefore, I have elected to use both pieces of kit in different situations:

Costa Subload - Most ergonomic primary and secondary reload platform bar none.  Useful when I have a ruck or a pack on to allow use of the waist belt.  Excellent for short range sessions, when you don't need 15 extraneous pounds of gear hanging off your person.

Battle Belt - First line gear, I opted for a heavier and more complete gear package which allows me the freedom to grab only one piece of kit and have access to primary and secondary mags, IFAK, survival knife, dump pouch, water, survival kit, and secondary weapon.

I have also decided that the chances of needing a metric sh*t ton of primary mags carried readily on my person is less probable then the need for me to use all the tacticool gear that I have acquired.  Therefore, I run 2 primary mags on my battle belt.  I figure I can always grab more out of my pack if i am going to be shooting a ton, or I can run plates with an extra 6 mags if I know that I may be shot at from the outset.

I agree. I bought this hoping I could run it on the inner belt on the suregrip but it does not work. So I threw it on my belt and took this picture as a gag.

Personally, I'd think that's a bit heavy on the pistol ammo, but that's a personal thing. Then again, I'm used to a max of 2 spare pistol mags on the belt, and how much does a full mag of 9mm weigh versus one of 5.56?

I'd also consider bumping the single Rifle Taco on the belt behind the 2 double Rifle/Pistol Tacos, so all your pistol mags on the main belt are closer together.

But again, all of that is preference-driven.

Extended Range Operator Pack

Great pack, got it a while back but sadly never had a chance to use it. Ended up being my winter car survival pack which either sat in my closet or trunk. No real use seen.

Got it in the EE if anyone's interested http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_90/1377929_WTS_Tactical_Tailor_Extended_Range_Operator_Pack.html

Where did you get the fabric?  I've been needing some Mandrake to make a patch for a hole that got burnt into my pants lol.  I also really want the crap out of a Kryptek blanket now.

I've got more than enough 1000D Mandrake to make a patch. How much do you need?

That's alot of ammo for 1 rig, I'd move 4 of those mags to the pack, but that's just me, I'm sick of having heavy ktis.

My pc can carry six rifle mags and three pistol mags. Potentially up to four more rifle mags on my belt.

So I've actually had this Banshee for probably close to 3 years now. Never really liked it due to the bulky shoulder straps/pad so I got to modifying. Heres a couple quick pictures and Ill post a full run down when I get this beast finished!

https://www.flickr.com/photos/129047997@N05/15927121756/in/photostream/ Like I said I didn't like the shoulder straps and pads so I took my shears and cut them off. I ordered 2in wedding from Down Range Gear along with some 2 in Nexus slide bars. I just hand sewed the pieces in place where I wanted them and took it to my local sew shop here and they double stitched it. Its just as secure if not more secure than the original straps. Just like that it was pretty comfortable but I added the ATS shoulder pads off my work rig for when I got some weight on there. I had the sew shop put some hook and look on there and its good to go. Im able to shoulder my rifle right on top of the strap right next to my plate and get a good cheek weld. Mag pouches are the lo-pro pouches ATS makes with kywi's inside. The pouches are so form fitting to the mags it took some modification to get the kywi's to fit well and get the retention I wanted. Shock cord look around the CAT w/ shears behind. I made my own Multi Mission Hanger out of a ATS GP Pouch. Just cut the attachment system off the back and took 2 pieces of 4 inch webbing to the sew shop and had them sew hook and loop to either side then attach it to the pouch. Right now I keep my BOK in there a half shemagh a head lamp and a few cliff bars. Works pretty well and keeps me from paying another 35 for a specialty pouch.
ATS 50oz hydration pouch with 550 cord looped around it for now waiting on a source 50oz to arrive. In the Vert GP Pouch is various survival items plus more med gear (more on that later)

From EGL, not originally its intended purpose as a micro. Was originally a drop leg rig, but found it better utilized as a rig cage cross rig. Will  get some photos up with the new setup and carry method.

First Light AMP + old US Palm GP/admin pouch = great hunting kit bag. 5x7.5x3" and 23.25oz as pictured. Makes virtually no noise, doesn't interfere with slings, bino straps, or shouldering the rifle, and holds all my basic hunting, first aid, and survival shit freeing up my pockets and keeping me from having to wear a pack.

Working on my new setup. Picked up a cheap surplus OTV vest with sapi plates at a gun show right before a rifle class I had.

Just ordered some stuff from SKD and building a new setup now.

Working on my new rig.

That black belt is my 3 gun belt.

Those mounted in the pic I first posted are the taccom double stacks to quad load the shotgun.

Ha bought them and the vest on a impulse purchase at the fun show was only 150 for it all. That's why I am building a new rig now on a pig BRIG I need medium size plates.

Still haven't ordered new plates yet just got the carrier yesterday and figuring out what else I want on it, and what I want to put on my "war" belt.  Thinking of ordering the ATS belt for now.

How are you stacking the cuffs on top of the radio? Seems like a good option for a skinny dude like me

How do you like the safariland triple mag? Is the retention sufficient with one or more magazines removed? I've been considering getting one to replace my TT magna pouch.

Cool trick to stack your second set of cuffs on top of your radio.  Is that a pouch made like that, or did you rig something up?

ETA: Should have finished reading the thread before posting.

Retailer on Ebay by the user name "Karasoulas" makes these packs. they are similar to the Eagle MAP pack but shorter to fit on the newer style plate carriers.

It simply molles onto the back of the Carrier.

It cost me 65 shipped, whoch isn't too bad. My only complaint is that the lateral straps dont have two sided fast tek buckles. Only the male portion is adjustable, not too upsetting though I already have relpacements ordered.

yeah just be aware the lateral straps are only single adjustments. not dual.
