The battle belt either rides ridiculously high or blocks my access to my subload. Therefore, I have elected to use both pieces of kit in different situations: Costa Subload - Most ergonomic primary and secondary reload platform bar none. Useful when I have a ruck or a pack on to allow use of the waist belt. Excellent for short range sessions, when you don't need 15 extraneous pounds of gear hanging off your person. Battle Belt - First line gear, I opted for a heavier and more complete gear package which allows me the freedom to grab only one piece of kit and have access to primary and secondary mags, IFAK, survival knife, dump pouch, water, survival kit, and secondary weapon. I have also decided that the chances of needing a metric sh*t ton of primary mags carried readily on my person is less probable then the need for me to use all the tacticool gear that I have acquired. Therefore, I run 2 primary mags on my battle belt. I figure I can always grab more out of my pack if i am going to be shooting a ton, or I can run plates with an extra 6 mags if I know that I may be shot at from the outset. |

I bought this hoping I could run it on the inner belt on the suregrip but it does not work. So I threw it on my belt and took this picture as a gag. |

Then again, I'm used to a max of 2 spare pistol mags on the belt, and how much does a full mag of 9mm weigh versus one of 5.56? I'd also consider bumping the single Rifle Taco on the belt behind the 2 double Rifle/Pistol Tacos, so all your pistol mags on the main belt are closer together. But again, all of that is preference-driven. |

It simply molles onto the back of the Carrier. It cost me 65 shipped, whoch isn't too bad. My only complaint is that the lateral straps dont have two sided fast tek buckles. Only the male portion is adjustable, not too upsetting though I already have relpacements ordered. |
