You guys use the spacers?   And what's the lowest you got for holster?  Low ride?

I don't use spacers and went with midrides. Haven't looked back

@DEDX What to did you use to secure the velcro? Glue? What? I have used adhesive backed velcro and it comes off easily

I use a Safariland regular belt loop, with a QLS and no spacer for my carry belt. I use a Mid ride UBL, spacer and QLS for my battle belt.

They make two different versions of QLS. The QLS and the QLS L. The QLS L requires much more manipulation to release it. If you’re worried about the regular QLS not being secure enough, the QLS L might help put your mind at ease.

The two black QLS receivers are the QLS L. The FDE one is standard QLS. You’ll see where I circled the black one has 2 posts. Which require the extra manipulation to be able to squeeze the fork enough for the holster to release from the receiver. Just some of the QLS I had laying around, ignore the thigh rig, I don’t have any decent pics of my UBL on my battle belt.

@YoteSlayer69
I used adhesive velcro at first but it just came off. I eventually roughed up the plastic with sandpaper and super glued them on. All but 1(the pistol mag missing one) have held on for since then.

Not sure. Looking at the pics it looks like the holster portion of the RTI is just a tad too wide.

You could probably fit the bare holster straight onto the bar though. I haven’t found any holsters at work that haven’t fit

How heavy are your war belts fully loaded?

Mine feels fine when wearing it but when thrown in a gear bag, damn it adds some weight

@ToDDxTyBoy
Mine is 8.2 pounds including the pistol I wear with it the most.
Glock 17 W/ Streamlight TLR-1
2 reloads
Trauma kit
Shears
Small fixed blade
Multi tool
Surefire 6P light
Streamlight Sidewinder Compact
Thyrm 3X CR123 holder

When I wear my belt running during the day, I ditch all the lights and switch to a Glock 43X. That gets it down closer to 6.0 pounds.

Anyone have advice on an axl eclipse or aws SMU? The smu is on sale and I’d like to get a good belt for competitions. Both sound like great options. Thank you.

No experience with the axl, but I got the SMU a few weeks ago and love it. Finally got it all set up and it’s pretty comfortable and solid. If I had money I’d get one for my wife.

I have an AWS SMU. Worth the money for me and is worn on duty. It's not "stiff" like most other gun belts claim to be, the belt material can support a gun and magazines but also move with your body. I prefer the molle style of the AWS, allows for mounting of gear but doesn't look overtly tactical otherwise. I coupled mine with a Lead Devil Predator inner belt which adds some rigidity. The velcro holds the two belts together extremely well. I also like that the AWS belt has the extra material fold on the outside of the belt instead of the inside. I have my holster attached with a True North MHA, and all other pouches and stuff with onewrap.
