Anyone know if the Kel-Tec KSG barrel is easily removed from the other parts of the frame (with basic tools, after taking off the barrel nut with the special wrench that parts needs)?

I haven't attempted to take mine apart, but I know the instruction manual tells you not to attempt it and that it should be performed by a gunsmith.  It is beyond the normal maintenance dis-assembly procedure.

Any reason specifically you want to remove it?

You will need a barrel nut tool, there are a few aftermarket ones on ebay etc..
The one I used was made by Hitec customs and they didn't lie when they said that
it will come off in 2-3secs when you use an impact wrench. Mine came off in 2 secs and
I was like? thats it?
Anyway, for routine cleaning you dont need to remove it.
But to attach a muzzle brake etc, you need to remove the barrel nut.

EDIT: I just re-read your post, did you mean taking it off, completely separate from the mag tube?
link to copy of owner's manual, in case you don't have one:

Someone was asking me about choke tube threading of the KSG so assorted Rem-Choke type products (think Salvo) could be attached to the barrel. That machining is best done with the chamber end of the barrel supported in the lathe tailstock, hence the need to get the barrel out of the frame.

I do believe I’ve seen a YouTube video with that DeWalt impact wrench

EDIT: Might not be what you're looking for but, I found this:
Keltec actually makes one that accepts win chokes, It seems like all you
have to do is remove barrel nut and replace with this=> http://www.keltecweapons.com/ksg/ksg-accessories/ksg-choke-tube-adapter/

That's what I plan to do to shoot clays with mine.
