I see so many pics here of shotguns with m4 type stocks.... are those all that comfortable to shoot??
I cant imagine at least not with my 18" barrel 12 gauge.

Im thinking about getting a new pistol grip stock 4 my mossberg and like the one the guys got on his in the pic i quoted. Does anybody know the best place and most reasionably priced place to order them online??

went to the gunshow to buy a mossberg 500 breaching gun and brought this home instead.

top: franchi law-12.
in my experience they are rarely operational when found(spas often also). the plastic used in some critical parts does not age well and the factory lube turns gummy. a thorough cleaning , re-lube, and detailed inspection were in order. i'll have to fabricate one replacement part and i replaced the mag spring. the diverter was something i had on hand.
have to make time to test-fire.

if you have the dexterity to load one on the follower, it will hold 10 rounds. so light it feels like it's made of balsa. the handguard is actually painted wood.

my spas is below it. now i have both!

My Mossberg 500, 20" barrel, 7+1 capacity. No whiz-bang folding stocks, pistol grips, or holo-sights. The flashlight is a Surefire G2 Nitrolon with an $8 clamp and a $20 pressure switch, and the shell holder cost $5 at Kmart. Less than $300 in the whole thing. Shoots great.

A number seem to be Knoxx SpecOps stocks which are supposed to reduce felt recoil. I bought one myself today for a Mossberg 500, but have not had a chance to shoot it yet.

Remmy 870 18" with +2 extension, TacStar 6 shell side saddle, & SureFire 918.
Soon to have an XS big dot over the bead and still trying to decide if I want a Speedfeed IV-S or not.

My first shotgun, definately not my last. This is about as complicated as this one will get, besides a sling I think.
