Thx so much pursuitss
Problems happen when a MRD is mounted to the slide or the frame? Maybe something like the frame mounted race gun MRD mount. Red dot w the right dot would do a lot to extend the effective range of the gun beyond conventional pistol ranges. In war, never shoot any closer than you have to, as the saying goes.

I don't believe there would be ANY issues using a frame mount, only a slide mount.

So does the barrel move back and or tilt like a browning action or a M9?
Kind of hard to explain (and I'm not sure I fully understand it) there are no locking lugs on the barrel and no cam cut. But FN states it
IS locked breach. Considering how light the slide is, and the pressure of the round.....it has to be!
One other thing to keep in mind (and Buffman can probably explain it better) The FN PS90 (and P90) are both blowback with a relatively heavy bolt. The FN 5.7 has a relatively light slide. You can fire "hotter" rounds through the 5.7 pistol than you can through the P90 or PS90.
Point of fact, Elite Ammunition sells several rounds that are clearly marked
FOR USE IN THE FN 5.7 PISTOL ONLY!
I truly believe the FN 5.7 is the current pinnacle of handgun technology, both the round and the pistol.
I just wish the damn thing wasn't so expensive! But FN had no reason to lower the price, they are made in batch runs and as soon as they hit the market....BOOM, they're gone.
