It says that the lite's are a polymer frame. Were the previous model lite's a polymer frame?

Here's a better look at it. I'm liking the button shapes on the left, always hated the MK round buttons.

Looks very interesting. The best thing I can see is the LCI is gone.
I couldn't abide with the plastic lower when I built mine, but that upper (in black) on a Volqs lower would be great. |

For those wondering about other color choices - I just noticed an all black model added to their site.

Not a big fan of the bronze look. It'll probably be another year before they release another color right?
Part of me can't help but think Ruger has had this designed for quite a while now... and that they finally released the MK IV after S&W released the Victory lol. |

I'm hot for an all black one. One of the TV gun shows had an all black non Lite model, I called Ruger and they said they don't make it. Peculiar!

I kinda like the bronze.
As soon as I see one in my area, it'll be coming home with me. |

I hope I can scoop up the older Marks for super cheap once these things get plentiful.
I love my MK II 22/45 slab side target. |

If I could manage to pick one of these up at around the price of the original 22/45 lite I would absolutely be interested. I have been meaning to buy a 22/45 for a while, and while the takedown process doesn't scare me off, I would not mind it being easier. The ability to strip it quicker would benefit other people using it besides just me. What do you think these will be going for real world? or how long before prices lower? I'm wondering when the time comes if getting an older one would be better than waiting or paying too much.

Does anyone know if base pads will be available that would make magazines work on both mark III and mark Iv 22/45? I know there will be pads to update the Mark III work in the Mark Iv but they would then not work in the Mark III sadly.

My buddy picked up an all black model about a week ago here in Michigan. They're out there. View Quote I see a couple on GB now. I had a MK III 22/45 Lite that I shot very well, but hated the take down. I bought a Victory and it is flawless, but I still like the 1911 feel better. I'll have one. |

I picked one up at my local gun store this weekend in all black. I'm looking at some mods already! The Tandemkross stuff seems to be the most compelling right now. I don't like the need to use the slide release instead of a slingshot method to close the slide on a new magazine.

Just got one on GB, great price, reasonable shipping and no CC fees.

What's a good price for these? I have a Sig 1911-22. I hate cleaning it. Thinking of maybe selling that for this?

Been in contact with a couple of shots to see if any had it locally.
Found one locally that can bring in the Bronze for $425+sales tax. A shop told me Cabelas has them right now for $450. Another shop quite a bits away, according to their online shop has it in stock for $470. It's actually the same place where I bought my 1911-22 from years ago... I think, lol. Anyways, the $425 from the local shop seems like a great deal? I have no idea what the III use to go for. *edit* Ordered mine. Should be here in a couple of days. |

....and that they finally released the MK IV after S&W released the Victory lol. View Quote Bought the victory a few months ago. I liked the idea of its design but the gun was so ammo picky. After some investigation I found their mags to be a smidge short (front to back) and caused the rounds do bind as they were feeding. Traded it in on an mk4 lite, black model. If theyd had the bronze though Id of gotten that instead. |

Congrats! Now go burn up some ammo! View Quote Got the ammo, just don't have the time. Hopefully in a couple of days. Wish I had more magazines. Saw a couple in stock online ,but oh my are they $$. Need to wait for the hype to die down a bit I guess. I did pick up the "Ultimate Clip Loader" and the TK comp. |
