Got a 22/45 inbound and would like to change the grips (design logo, etc).  What size 1911 grips fit it?  Commander? Government?

The 22 45 is government sized.

Also both commander and Govt. use the same size grips , you cannot use officer sized ( shorter grip frame ) or CCO style grips

You may need to trim 1911 grips at the top for slide release clearance. The Ruger grip bushings are for slim 1911 grips.

Yep. You may want to add regular bushings for regular grips.
