Like the thread title says, looking at getting a TacSol upper and putting it on a MK III Volquartsen lower. Has anyone tried this combination? Any issues? Looking at getting the VQ bolt as well.

I have not mated a pac lite to my Volquartsen MKIII frame. Something to think about with the pac lite upper is that the breech face is aluminum and will wear much faster than the steel breech face of standard Ruger upper or that of the Volquartsen LLV. I compared a bunch and went with the LLV because of my concerns about a steel bolt repeatedly hitting the pac lite aluminum breech face.

Edit: Volquartsen comp. bolt is awesome.

I have done two pistols in that configuration. One with the Volquartsen bolt, one with a ruger bolt and a volquartsen racker.  They are SUPER light. I have a red dot reflex sight and a titanium Element II on one.  I was shooting milk jugs at one hundred yards for fun yesterday. They eat all ammo, good stuff and Remington crap.
