I bet the 60 odd number comes from shooting perhaps a few 20 round boxes of carry ammo?
I am the exactly opposite of OCD - out of the dozens of guns I own I couldn't tell you the exact round count in any of them, I do not replace springs at any sort of round count schedule just a rough estimate and it generally is at least twice the generally accepted interval more or less. If a gun is running and not giving any sign of trouble I generally do not replace stuff that is working. Many of the guns I use regularly are 50-75 years old and have all original parts including springs in many cases.
Even when I shot long range precision rifle matches I did not log the number of round I was shooting- as long as the gun was doing sub minute of angle groups any count of anything is irrelevant- I have had many guns ( especially rifles here) that by any measure the OCD round count people would say were due for a rebarrel but guess what- if the barrel is "worn out" but still grouping it does not require replacement.
You would probably stroke over my maintenance schedule- I started a gunsite 250 course with a dirty glock with unknown round count since last cleaning did the course and the dirty gun came out a week later for an IDPA match. Didn't clean after that either may get around to it sometime in the next month or two?!
