What grips and mag should put with this pistol to make it more appealing to the masses.
I'm not trying to drum up sales ....... I'm going to sell this gun locally FTF as it's a workhorse has scratches etc.... The mag without a basepad is a kimber the one with pach basebad was sold to me as kimber but it's certainly different variety if it is.... Colt rubber grips , pach, hougue or ruger micarta on it  don't ask me where the original grips are i've moved 4 times since i bought it nib 20~ years ago.

Nothing wrap around. And not a different/competing brand's grips.
Mags, don't matter really. |

Mags and grips don't even enter into consideration for me unless there's something fancy like a new set of VZ grips that might add $50 to the value. I pretty much know that I'm going to toss whatever grips and mags the gun comes with into a drawer and never look at them again.

I actually like the black rubber Colt grips unless you're going to carry it.
Sell it as is as grips are a very personal thing |

I'd be more interested personally if it had Pachmayrs, because all mine have those except for one that has VZ grips.

It's funny my brother seriously cleaned the pistol up for me. He asked if i'd cleaned it since the 90's
Now i'm having second thoughts about selling it
I was going to buy another ruger rail gun so i would have two (ocd thing) but idk it's tough to part with for some reason. |

I don't think it will matter. Doesn't add anything to me. As previously posted grips are a personal thing. I put Hogue wraparounds on everything I can just because the grooves actually work for my hand size. It's a personal thing. in the 1911 world I wouldn't put wrap arounds on a gun I was trying to sell. it covers the frame and I want to see as much of the gun as I can before I hand over hard earned dollars.
