Posted this on another forum I frequent, apologize if you're seeing it twice.

Well, got my Baer back today from Evolution Armory and I couldn't be happier. Wilson bullet proof ambi safety, one piece magwell and Wilson flat trigger installed. I gotta say, operating the safety feels better than original, trigger is amazing, and man, what a nice magwell. Needless to say I'm very happy with how it turned out and with Evolution Armory's customer service. They definitely made my already great Baer better.

Magwell shoot was cold blued, as I anticipate it to get pretty beat up. Also waiting to get some Spegel grips, these will do for now.

I like to think it says "Sit the fuck down".

And the Safety is on the correct side of that pistol!  Sweet!

Not really a fan of ambi safeties or flat triggers, but that is a sharp looking gun.

I like how Baer seems to go for the classic glossy blue and wood grips, vs the "tactical" look a lot of other manufacturers tend to go for.

Curious about this as well.  I have 2 LB's, and if I needed work on them, they would go back to LB directly.

Baer isn't really about doing exactly what you want.  It's pretty much his way or the highway.

This... He will only install his parts. So my business went elsewhere.

Never understood that line of reasoning for a business owner..
We had a local 'smith like that around here. He's not in business anymore..

It's like asking an old Italian grandmother to add a bit more oregano to her home made sauce

It is what it is.  I suppose he thinks that if you wanted something different, you wouldn't be buying one of his guns.

I love the way Baers are built, it's why I wanted one. Just needed some options added to better fit me. It's about perfect now thanks to Evolution Armory

That's great work. I've kicked around having a magwell put on my UTC but l carry it IWB and I'm not sure the little added grip length would be good for concealment.  Also Baer lists a one piece MSH magwell on their site, not sure if they will install it or not.

Yes, they put one on one of my Baers.

Why every Baer doesn't come with a mag well already on it is beyond me................
