I've seen you reference "BM" style safety a few times.

What exactly does that mean?

That's a beautiful pistol; no two ways about it. Close to what I did with my WCG, but a couple of things different.

Truly a beaut.

That is gorgeous!   Well done!

I went back and forth one one of mine, and finally went with a more subtle two-tone for this one.

That's really quite nice.  I like the thumb safety, nicely rounded rear with just a touch of extension.

I'm trying to decide whether I like the SS bushing or not.  Normally I dislike a SS bushing on a blued gun, but on the 2-tone it does not look out of place.

That's a really nice looing gun with a lot of impressive work done to it.

More of a work of art than a carry gun (not that you can't carry/shoot it but I sure would feel worse about scratching/dropping/grinding that one vs. my CZ or XDM).  That's why I started messing with the plastic guns, I promised myself up front I wouldn't worry about handling wear/damage that would really upset me if the same thing happened to one of my Colts.

My Series 80 is still loaded by the bed.  I just carry the CZ's outside, fishing, working on the cars, etc.

That one is too pretty to lock up in a safe.

I've liked the 2 tone retro look ever since I saw a Pachmayr Combat Special back in the early 90s.

Beautiful work sir.

I'll take one--minus the checkering/beavertail/slotted hammer.

Beautiful workmanship.

Yep.  Hard not to go wow at your work.

Those grips are fat.   Or at least it looks that way to me.  I like that.

Mine is an old one and not as custom as yours but I like it.
