Does anyone know a source for standard 8 round Makarov mags?

Every one I've found came with a free gun.  I WISH I could find some.

I kept searching nightly on gunbroker.com  and after 5 nights, scored 6 for $70 shipped. Three were slightly used and three looked new. Stay persistent, and it will pay off...

Ordered my last ones from Brownells some months back. They were new in the wrapper and I believe it was twenty or twenty-five each that I paid for them.

They had to have made 50 ger-billion of them in the last 50 years....  i can't believe they dried up...

logically speaking, how could Mec-Gar not be cranking them out unless they didn't want to compete with the surplus....  makes one wonder....

As many Makarovs as were sold in this country, & the way people bought them up, I can't (read don't want to) believe that someone hasn't started making after market mags & other parts for them. at one time I had 3 Maks, and gobs of mags. They were so cheap that when I sold 2 of the Maks, I gave away several mags for each one. I am down to one Mak now. It is an East German one that I did my first action job on. It has a super slick trigger and slide to frame fit. I was buying Mags from Centerfire Systems for little to nothing. I am down to 7 or 8, and have no desire to sell any mags or the gun. I sure wish Clinton had not made that deal with Russia not to sell any more Maks here. I really like mine. Not gloating or bragging. I feel sorry for you guys.

Thanks,
Mark

CDNN Sports use to carry them, also KY Imports also use to carry them. Haven't been on the sites for a while you might check them. The Mak I have is the high capacity model

I bought some of the de-rusted EG Mags last year. Best deal going in Mak Mags. They have a grey cast to the finish rather than blue. Other than that, they are functionally perfect. I should buy more before they run out.
