Hi

I was just wondering why there is a picture thread for every other handgun category on this forum except for the Para Ordnance?

Can't we do something about it? (Talking like I own a para. I would love to but at this stage i don't)

Show me what you've done with yours.

I'm really sorry to jack this thread, but I am about to buy 3 Para's in the exact same config (only with my agency's stuff engraved instead) -- a single stack .45, a double stack .45, and a double stack .40.

What do you think of that particular model?

Hmmmm.....it seems Para Ordance owners are either very few on this forum or they are ashamed of their babies.

Although it seems movie makers are loving the Para's these days. Well for the last couple of years to be exact. Can't turn my head without seeing one in a movie.

Never a malfunction, 13 rounds into one ragged hole @ 15yards standing, no sharp edges, perfect trigger with ultra short reset, short grip, easy to conceal, what's not to like?

Many moons ago, I found one of the frame kits with a Springfield Armory slide & barrel. I didn't know any better, but I picked it up and it was my first ever pistol purchase for $400 or so. Well, it sat around and did nothing until I sent it off to Springfield Custom Shop for tweaking and refinishing.

It's a gorgeous, heavy beast of a pistol.

ok my pics and vid suck and i dropped my brand new pistol on the gravel trying to get a shot of it which left some dirt and a couple permanent nicks but here they are. i hope the vid works.
para gi expert 1911 and cmmg carbine
the box it came with is pretty nice, i like that it doesn't have any foam in it. but it comes with everything that any new pistol comes with. lock, manual,  allen wrench, bushing wrench and lube
and an extra mag
