For my 15th Glock I made myself a complete .22lr gun:

Unfortunately there's no savings over a .22lr pistol ($595 as it sits ) but it's a better training aid. Just like .22 AR uppers need their own lowers, the AA kit needed its own frame

I did right up until I shot it. I have fairly large hands and the damn thing kept biting me like you wouldn't believe. It's a shame, it was really accurate and otherwise cool but I couldn't get down with the bloodshed every range day.

Big hammy hands are a bitch, aren't they.

Could you bob the hammer or add a Commander style hammer to it?

It sucks to buy a pistol and then not be able to shoot it. I had a Taurus PT945 that was a rock solid pistol. It hammer bit me so bad I couldn't get through a mag without bleeding. Traded it off on a Glock 30 so that worked out well.

Would a grip sleeve or something similar help?

I'm not even sure if it was the hammer or if it was one of the areas of the frame just gouging my hand. It was a semi-circle as pictured

It was a nice gun though

Oh that sucks a fat one... I've gotten rid of a fantastic Mil-Spec 1911 before due to the almost exact same deal. I'm a big guy but certainly am not fat by any means. I've got meaty hands and thick skin. Looks like so do you.

Snagged this early production 6904 for $330 out the door today at a LGS. They had it marked for $370. I talked 'em down to $299.99 for it.

Other than some minor holster wear. This gun is mechanically perfect and barely shot.

Been needing something to fill the void of some 3rd Gens I had to sell.

Went to the LGS looking for a .22, saw this, came back a day later and picked it up. Not practical, ergonomic or light, but I have plenty of others that fit that description. Didn't have a .50 - until now.

Don't know for sure, but I'm thinking it was built in '95 or '96. Has to be one of the early .50AE models - the tag on the box (which matches the serial number on the pistol) shows it to be a .50AE caliber Mk VII.

This M9A3has a OD green frame.  I can't find it on the Beretta sight, reported to be a usmc version?  I also have a FS and G so I thought I would change out the trigger to the WC short reach, now that I have it in hand I'm not so sure.  The VERTEC type frame fits a lot different than the 92FS/G.  My fs and G have EII hammers, WC trigger return mod and the G has a WC trigger bar.  I felt these both had great SA and DA trigers, this A3is better out of the box other than a touch of creep in SA.

CZ-85 from CDI Sales.

I already like it better than my Block 19 and have worked on the magwell so it accepts modern (non pre-B) CZ mags.

At about 2 am I decided it was time to get out the studio lights. tripod, and DSLR with an old manual focus 50mm lens. Used a white T shirt as the backdrop. It's been a long time since I photographed anything....(was way into photography for a while)

I bought this pistol and the Trijicon HDs from a local gun shop here in Tucson on June 28th 2016. Later added an Apex DCAEK

Chose the M&P Compact mainly for concealed carry (constitutional carry FTW) and because it uses the same mags as my full size(Already had four mags at the time) saved me some money not having to buy into a whole new system.

Used it in a couple pistol classes so far and I'm getting better with it.

Can y'all see the photos? It just shows the image links for me. I followed the directions on the how to post pictures thread that at the top of this board and none of the methods seem to work.

....Been lurking a while, but decided it's time to jump in and participate.
