I imagine it will be a week or two before we start seeing them in the wild. Looks cool though.

its bad enough I bought a bodyguard 380, a shield in 9, a fs 9, a compact 45 and just ordered a four inch M629,
and they have do announce this. I am never gonna get ahead.
I would have an old M422 also, but one of the daughters talked me out of it.

No but I'm interested although I shouldn't be adding another pistol in the EDC rotation.

Dammit OP... I need another pistol like I need another hemorrhoid flare up!

In all seriousness, this looks to be an awesome set-up. And knowing what I know about the M&P in regards to their inherent light recoiling characteristics... this will be one smooth & easy shooting little bitch! Nice capacity too for such a small package as well.

Maybe ill hold of on getting the m&p45c and get one of these little guys. Should be a nice little blaster with decent capacity for a slim 45.

I was able to get my hands on one of them at the NRA Annual Meeting this past weekend.  The only real difference I noticed was how the stippling on the grip was way more aggressive than on my 9mm Shield.  It didn't really feel that much bigger than a normal 9mm Shield.

I won't touch an MP until there is a 10mm

I think the stippling would be a good option for all the M&P line. I wonder how the recoil will be on the 45 shield? Maybe somewhere between the 40 and 9mm?

Looks good to me, very close in size/weight/price to the Kahr CW45.

Would love to get one and be able to have a quality, durable, always goes bang single stack .45 ACP that works and fits in the hand perfectly.
