What features would you take from any and all modern pistols in order to make the ultimate pistol?

[#1]
I'd make a Browning Hi-Power or a CZ 75B

.357 built in green dot

I was thinking more along the lines of.
Poly lower, interchangeable inserts
A 1911 style mag release
VP9 style slide, with a dual or triple spring recoil system
Interchangeable barrels for .22, .380, 9mm, 45.

kind of a jumple of features from multiple pistols. I want to start doing a new design project for myself at home.

A double stack Walther P5 with a steel frame instead of the aluminum one.

Perfection.

S&W M&P in the size of a G19 with TruGlo TFX sights and Apex trigger from the factory.

Assalient Arms Hi-point

A railed officer framed 2011 with a commander top end in 45ACP would be pretty close for me.

Though my P7s are damn fine guns as well

I would just repeal NFA 1934 so I could buy a Glock 18.

CZ-75 with controls I could reach, a slide I could grab, and sights I could use.

Why not just start with something that's not so fucked up to begin with?

OK.  How about a Walther PPQ with a steel frame?

I'd take all the parts off a 1911, then put them back together and have the best pistol ever made.

Glock 23 is almost there.

40 cal,  Get a 357 Sig and 9mm barrel.

Also a 22 conversion kit.

Mine is very accurate.

While the Glock is accurate and reliable I still don't like it.

CZ75 compact PCR is great also.

Got tired of headache of Glock vs S&W CORE pistols.  Basically said F'ooey it.  Bought a new ghost ring fiber optic riot gun and 1000 rounds of 12 gauge.

Brute power and no need to think.  Just work the trigger and slide and trigger and slide and........No BS slap down.  Next.  Next.

I think an m&p 9 that was the size of a g19 would be the perfect hand gun for me.

Glock parts to make a G20.

Honestly after shooting them for so long my Glocks are just fine with me.  I do prefer the 9/40/357 compact frame without finger grooves, but that's nothing a Dremel can't fix.  I should probably trade my G20 on a SF or 4th gen so that I can wrap my girly little hands around it better, but I'm too attached to it.  I'm (im)patiently waiting for a G40 instead.

I have always felt good and shot well with the 1911 and its "offspring" like the 238 I carry...

Glock 17/19 with a rounded slide on the muzzle like the G37.

I'd like a striker fired, polymer frame with a thin slide of a BHP, a 1911 trigger and 13-15 round capacity with the height and length of a CZ Compact / G19.

PM me when you've got it ready.
I'm in for 2.

What fun is the Handgun Jumble?  I like collecting different ones and seeing which one I like best.  I can't seem to shoot any of the worth a damn anyway...

The smooth shooting of a 1911.
the trigger of a 1911.
17 rounds of 44 mag.
automatic
all in the size of a LCP.

or, a light saber with a transfusion of Jedi blood.

Already own it.

CZ P-02.

If the VP9 lost the FCS and were the size of the G19, it would be there.  I'll take either a Glock trigger or the VP9 trigger.  The controls on the VP9 are accessible and intuitive, and just make more sense to me.  I agree that I've mostly just described the PPQ, but for some reason I couldn't jive with the grip angle or the trigger.

It has taken YEARS but I'm finally stopping making excuses for guns just because I want to like them.

For just enjoying yourself at the range?  The 1911.  If the design could be improved upon, God would have done so when he revealed it to JMB.
