Hey all,

I'm looking to buy a P226 Extreme but I'm not a fan of the G-Mascus style grips that come with the gun. Does any one know if I can install the regular one-piece grips (E-2 style I think) on this gun instead?

Yes you can, how many if any parts need to be substituted to make the grips work depends on the age of the pistol and what hammer strut, mainspring and mainspring housing it has.

In short, older pistol you'll need to put in the parts I mentioned above, newer pistol you can put them on as is.

Thanks 50.  It's a 2013 P226.

The E2 grips on my pistol make a world of difference. It is very comfortable and gives it a natural feeling grip angle.
