what is this in my barrel it almost looks like carosion of some sort but i dont know how i always keep my guns cleaned after range use and oiled after finished.

Bullet jacket material. Use any of the "copper out" cleaners.

Run several patches through it until the patches come out clean then let the barrel sit with the solvent in the bore. Eventually I run wet patches through it until the barrel comes out clean. Then let it sit again. Finally when the patches come out white, instead of blue (from the copper), I run a dry patch through the gun. |
