Vp9 or not on the list but a p320. I have the new m&p22 compact and it's pretty cool though.

I bought  an M&P 22 and couldn't be happier, it's my favorite rimfire pistol.

I have a GSG 1911-22 that I can't really complain about. It's awesome too, but it's not quite an M&P 22

As far as full size M&Ps go, I like them....they feel good, go bang every time, I hit well with them, but I don't care for the goofy internal take down lever. This is not a deal breaker though I still enjoy the pistol.

Although I'm a Glock 19 guy, It's what I train with.......I'm not so hung up on them that I can't own and enjoy other handguns.

I'd go M&P 22 so you can shoot and train with that less expensive ammo.

If you're hellbent on 9mm VP9 hands down

it's worth noting I have a Spectre II .22lr suppressor pending and no .22lr pistol

Probably the Witness.  You can convert it to multiple calibers via new slide/barrel assemblies.

Well... since you have the basics pretty well covered,

I'd  go with the EA Witness 10mm ...

If you're considering a 10mm, don't forget the 1006.
