I just bought the girlfriend a G42.  Have they ironed out all of the wrinkles on them?

Also do they function ok with steel cased ammo?  I have several Glocks, and they all eat steel just fine.  Thanks for the input guys.

If it is a plinker... go for it.

If it is a carry gun... don't cheap out on ammo!

I've never tried steel case ammo but my 42 like hotter ammo.  I've shot about 100 reloads using 95 grain FMJ bullets and Accurate number 2 loaded .1 grain under Max.  These have functioned 100%.

The only trouble I have with Russian 380 is hard primers.

Every gun I have shot them in has functioned fine with the exception of a hard primer (multiple guns that don't have trouble with any other type of 380).  Like one out of every box of 50 - just annoying.

I think other than primers Good to Go for range ammo.
