Hi again,

I still use my Blade-Tech kydex holsters I used for USPSA and steel plate matches even though I haven't shot a match in 3 years.

So I went to Blade-Tech's website looking to order one for this new to me BHP.  It would not add to my shopping cart, so I called them.  They are no longer making holsters for BHP's.

So what would you recommend for a kydex outside the waist band holster, which would mainly be used for "advanced plinking" at the range.
TIA

Bravo Concealment appears to make one for the BHP:

There is also a forum member (goodmedicine) that makes them for the BHP too:

Comp Tac makes a number of models for the BHP.

I have a couple and have been very pleased with them.

Yeah, back when I was shooting IDPA, CompTac was like the only outfit at the time which made an IDPA legal holster for a 92FS Brig Inox.

I would question that.

Leather 1911 holsters work fairly well with the BHP
Kydex not so much. There's a fair amount of difference in the thickness and overall dimensions between the two
Not insignificant when using a hard molded holster.
I actually have a couple of molded 1911 holsters that my BHP gets stuck in because the retention locations hit ever so slightly off and get hung up.

Comp Tac, Raven.... There are a number of good kydex makers out there with BHP molds.
Buy the right stuff.

Mister, pretty much nailed it, leather 1911 would work though if it's tight may need some break-in, Kydex won't provide a good match at all.

Goodmedicine here makes kydex. He has a BHP MkIII model he can use. I know, because he made me one And yes it's molded with the MkIII safety on; cocked and locked.

Well...I bought another BHP...still chrome, but this time with target sights.

I subscribe to that school of thought that two is one, and one is none.

X Concealment.....OWB, I actually sent them a blue gun about a month ago....got mine....its a really nice holster...Im a stickler when it comes to good kydex holsters...and Honestly X concealment makes a great holster (I would say just as good as the "top" known Kydex makers, cheaper, and FAST delivery time....I now have one of their holsters for every pistol I own (Im OCD and like keeping things the same )

Its their M series.
